Clean Up Cup,

The morson group sponsored this ryder cup style golf charity challenge at the scenic eskdale golf estate cumbria on tuesday 18th september 2007.  

Players representing the following organisations all took part;

NDA, UKAEA, BNG, FLOUR, SBB Nuclear, Jacobs, E2inc, Washington Int, Nexia, Atkins, Morsons Int & Morson Projects.

The day was a great success with the GB team being the first winners of what will be an annual event.

The Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were the nominated charity with donations to date reaching £1130. A  further £3000  grant has been offered by one of the american organisations and following a Whitehaven News article about the day the local Sellafield Contractors Alliance donated £2500. WMRT were very appreciative of this support which coincided with their campaign to raise funds for a new Land Rover.  

The best laugh of the day was Morson Group CEO Ged Mason getting his trolley stuck in the cattle grid by the first tee.
